Why I created this website? I want to demonstrate how easy it is to create a free website using Google Sites. 

The new version of Google Sites is nice for a simple website with a few pages. It does have a lot of features that connect into the Google Drive system, like YouTube, Calendar, Map, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, and Charts. 

Free Website Hosting with Google Sites

Google Sites does all the backend technical stuff, so you don't need to manage a web hosting account. If  you don't know what that is, that's okay, because now you don't have to. What this means is you don't have to mess with anything technical. And, this means you don't have to pay for this line item in your budget.

Use Your Custom Domain Name

I'm using the web address (also called a link or URL) example.djchuang.com here and you can use your domain name here, at no extra cost. 

What does this mean? You can get a solid basic website for the simple cost of an annual registration of a domain name (usually in the range of $20-$50 per year, depending on the domain extension) without incurring annual costs for web hosting (that would typically be an additional $50 to $200 per year, on the lower end.)
